SAVINGS
Open a checking, savings, money market or other account with the CPS IBEW FCU and you’ll earn dividends on your funds. We offer a variety of account types so that you can choose those that best meet your needs.
REGULAR SHARE SAVINGS ACCOUNT
An initial minimum deposit of $5 is required to become a member, which reflects your share of the CPS IBEW Federal Credit Union in San Antonio. Dividends are credited to your account monthly.

Easy Saver Program
When you make a debit card purchase, the total cost is rounded to the nearest dollar and the difference is deposited in your savings account. For example
- You pay $3.78 for your Coffee with your debit card
- The Purchase is rounded to $4
- The extra $0.22 is deposited in your savings account
You can choose for your change to be deposited into your Regular Savings or Christmas Club Account

YOUTH SAVINGS ACCOUNT
Teaching children to save is a lesson that lasts a lifetime. CPS IBEW FCU makes it easy with our Youth Savings Account:
- No minimum balance
- No monthly service fees
- Dividends paid monthly
- $5 minimum deposit to open
- When opening a new account, you need to provide your child’s social security card and a second form of ID which could be birth certificate, passport or state ID
- Available to children under 18 years old
CHRISTMAS CLUB ACCOUNT

What’s your favorite way to save for the holidays? Many of us tend to overspend and go into debt during the holidays. Make it a goal this year to build a budget and start a savings plan well in advance. Look at what our Christmas Club account offers:
- Helps you set money aside to plan ahead for holiday shopping and avoid overspending
- Makes saving easy with payroll deduction or auto transfer to your account
- $0 monthly fees
- Higher interest rate than traditional savings
- First business day in November Christmas Club funds are transferred into your primary share account
- Primary share account required to open Christmas Club account. Existing members can come into the Credit Union to open a Christmas Club account. New members need a photo ID (valid TX DL or ID or passport) and SS card.
- $5 required to open account for new and existing members
Note: $10 fee per withdrawal if money is withdrawn earlier than release date.

Share Certificates of Deposits
We offer Share Certificates of Deposits that require an initial minimum deposit of $1,000.00 and Higher Balance Share Certificates of Deposit that require an initial minimum deposit of $10,000.00 to open these accounts. Both of these accounts have 3-, 6-, 12-, 18 -, and 24-month terms available. Rates are subject to change weekly with penalties assessed for early withdrawal. View our deposit rates >>>

MONEY MARKET ACCOUNT
Our interest-bearing money market account has a required minimum balance of $2,500.00. Dividends will be compounded every month and credited to your account monthly.
